State Department warnings follow renewed Houthi attacks as the president weighs his next move against Iran

WASHINGTON (Worthy News) – President Donald Trump returned to the White House Saturday evening after unexpectedly cutting short his stay at Camp David, as mounting tensions prompted new security warnings for Americans across the Middle East.
The White House did not immediately explain the schedule change. Trump had originally been expected to remain at the presidential retreat until Sunday.
His return coincided with warnings that the conflict could escalate rapidly following an attempted Houthi attack on Saudi Arabia. The Saudi-led coalition said it intercepted a ballistic missile aimed at Riyadh, while the Iran-backed group claimed it also targeted Saudi oil facilities with missiles and drones.
The State Department urged Americans in the region to exercise heightened vigilance and prepare for possible flight cancellations, airspace closures and other disruptions. Officials also cautioned that Iran and its allies could target American citizens, businesses and diplomatic facilities.
The developments came days after Trump said he was approaching a “big decision” about Iran. Asked about his options, the president said he was weighing whether to “go in and annihilate” the Iranian regime or pursue another course.
Trump is expected to consult Gulf leaders during the United Nations General Assembly in New York. Iran, meanwhile, says it has communicated conditions for ending the conflict through Qatar.
No administration official has publicly confirmed that Trump’s early return was directly connected to a planned military action. Still, the timing underscores the seriousness of a confrontation that could threaten American personnel, Israel, Gulf allies and the flow of energy through the region.
