(Worthy News) – Iranian authorities staged a mock execution of U.S. President Donald Trump in Tehran as regime supporters marked the 47th anniversary of the 1979 seizure of the American Embassy, according to footage highlighted by the Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI).

The disturbing spectacle, held in Tehran’s Tajrish Square, featured an actor wearing a Trump mask and prison uniform being subjected to a simulated hanging by a man dressed as an Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps member. Iranian state television broadcast the performance as spectators watched and cheered.
The demonstration was part of a broader campaign of anti-American propaganda across Tehran, where crowds burned American and Israeli flags and displayed banners declaring, “We will kill Trump.”
The anniversary commemorates November 4, 1979, when Iranian revolutionaries stormed the U.S. Embassy and seized American personnel, ultimately holding 52 Americans hostage for 444 days.
The provocative displays came just one day after Democrats captured control of Congress in the U.S. midterm elections, a political setback Iranian officials celebrated as a rejection of Trump’s military campaign against the Islamic Republic.
Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf warned Washington against renewed military action, while Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei threatened a wider conflict if American attacks resumed.
Despite Tehran’s public celebrations, Reuters reported that Iranian leaders remain concerned Trump could launch additional military strikes before the newly elected Congress takes office in January.
